Talk about the Blue Murder music that you love here!| Blue Murder | | Gosh people...I know the headbanger era is long gone, but has nobody heard or seen the band blue murder? I saw blue murder live in San Antonio, TX, (by far the best place to see live concerts!!!) in 1989, at a club called SNEAKERS. It was one of the best concerts I have ever seen, besides Pink Floyd and Ozzy in Germany. blue murder has (to my knowledge) only released one album (cry my heart out) - called "blue murder". The best piece of the album is "Valley of the King"...The album was released in 1989 and I've been listening to it almost every day since...religiously. If anybody out there is aware of another album by blue murder, please H O L L E R at me!!! Thanks in advance...;0)
| | Khuay's revenge | | After all these months of scaring the daylights out of Khuay, he finally go his revenge. I still laugh over it.I have a rolling brief case to carry my books for class. I get home and do some studying so of course I take my books out of the case. I only have class on Tuesday and Thursday nights so I leave the case open and the books beside my chair. This morning I got up and wasn't feeling very good. I had the start of a migraine, so I took some migraine medication to knock it out. The medication makes me groggy so I really don't like taking it if I have to go somewhere; but I figured that it would be okay since I didn't have to go anywhere until around 2 p.m. I got dressed and started doing my morning chores, feeding cats and dogs and cleaning the litter box. Before I knew it the time had come to get ready to leave for school. I went in and changed clothes and noticed Khuay on the bed. The others were accounted for too so no one escaped when I wasn't looking. I then took care of a couple more things and then went to put my books into my brief case. I reached in to make sure my pencil was in the case and I felt something warm and hairy!!!![em]shocked[/em] I couldn't help... | |
| | Does it really work with Step Children, especially if you are the non -resident, | | Step Mother??This is or was, a big issue for me. Until recently, I was a non-resident step mother for nearly 7 years. Non -resident means that my step children have primary care with their biological Mother. There is plenty of statistical evidence in Australia, that second marriages end more frequently than first marriages. Now I know why, it's because of step children.
It just doesnt work. The step mother has a terrible time, being compared to their real Mother, being used for cooking, driving around, running after them. Then their Father favours them by spending better quality time with them, than with his wife (me).
They get away with blue murder. They tell lies to the Police, their biological Mother and the Family Court(and their Father. Now there is growing evidence that non-resident Step Mothers are the most discriminated people in our society. They have no rights at all. None in the Family Court, none in their step childrens school, and have no real say in their upbringing. But we are expected to wash their clothes, pick them up, buy them presents, etc.No wonder 2nd marriages are a disaster and soul destroying, if there are young step children involved.What...
| | School Teachers, Moonlighting as Prostitutes? Your Thoughts? | | The news has arisen today of a young female teacher working at a school here in New Zealand, has also taken up a secondary position in the evenings, working as a prostitute.
Teachers here working two jobs is a commonplace scenario, Teachers are paid very very poorly here in New Zealand, despite the position that they have been entrusted with in terms of educating our children.
Many work at Cafes, or Bars, or even as cleaners in large city office blocks, and no-one bats an eyelid.
However, when one particular teacher steps outside "The Square" and works as a prostitute, the whole country takes a huge gasp and the mumbles start, soon to grow into a roar.
Now I am in no way condoning this situation, but it must also be said that prostitution here is a legal occupation, as bought into law by the Labour Government not so long ago.
So, this "Lady" is doing absolutely nothing illegal, and is "Working" in her mind to earn sufficient income to survive.
What, I ask, would you as parents think if that teacher taught one or more of your children?
Would you scream blue murder and remove your children from the school until the teacher had been stood down?
Would you request that your...
| | Do you children like dressing up or not? | | One of mine loves it and throws her heart in to totally and will spend weeks planning the outfit re designing the outfit nagging for us to go and get the outfit and then tries it on every day until the party/parade. My son however is the opposite he hates it, he likes the concept of being a pirate or a soldier but when it comes down to the outfit he creates blue murder and I have to bribe and blackmail simply to get him near the costume and 9 times out of 10 he will wear it to school and then by the time I get there to get photos he has taken it off!Are your kids into dressing up or not? | |
| | Does anyone else notice the bugs getting worse? | | I am wondering if anyone else in different parts of the world has noticed the bugs and insects in the summer getting worse? I have been noticing that the bugs we see here seem to be getting bigger, nastier, and greater in numbers every year. I have also noticed that it seems like we have new bugs now that we never had around here before. The other day I was walking down the street when a little girl walking ahead of me suddenly screamed blue murder, I looked and I saw a flying beetle that looked like it came here straight from Africa fly around her and land on the ground in front of me. I was horrified. I live in Eastern Canada, we aren't supposed to have bugs that big here, what is going on? The other thing is the bugs seem to have more potent poison now, I got bit on the forhead by a little black fly last summer and I literally looked like someone had hit me in the forhead with a hammer, no lie. Has anyone else noticed new, bigger, or nastier bugs in thier area? | |
| | That Poor Child | | I was out shopping today and I saw this woman who was quite plump (but wasn't fat) she had this low cut top on showing her midriff and she was with a three or four year old child and at the same time she was on her mobile, swearing every other word it was F this F that and then her child starts to wonder off and she screams blue murder at the child and then grabs him back. It was terrible to see, but this goes on a lot nowadays! It makes me more annoyed that someone as calm, patient and loving like me would love the chance to have a son or work with children and yet here is this for want of a better word fishwife with this lovely child and she is swearing and treating this child worse than a dog.Have you seen these sorts of people out in the town showing this behaviour, especially in front of their children? Is it any wonder that children grow up to be juvenile deliquents?r, no lie. Has anyone else noticed new, bigger, or nastier bugs in thier area? | |
| | Monster arachnaphobia folly! | | Throughout the last year I've been getting my little red disability scooter out of it's little garage the lazy way .. just opening the doors enough to drag out the scooter and not bothering to lift back the heavy top flap ... I have to reach quite far into the garage .. and a few days ago over the weekend I felt my fingers brush against something white and sticky ... so I thought when I get back I'd sweep the inside of the little garage out .. When I got back ... I duly got my brush ... lifted open the heavy flap .. and half way up I saw ... a MONSTER .... and then it started dashing to and fro in it's MASSIVE web ... I was struck immovable in utter terror ... just my eyes darting to and fro watching the spider scurrying about .. Apparently I must have screamed blue murder as my neighbour came rushing out .. dashed up .. grabbed me ... and dragged me away from the garage ... white as a sheet all I could do was point .. and whisper .. spider ... big ... She went to get rid of the spider and then shouted ... eeeeekkkkk .... next thing her husband was there with us .. I was stammering spspspider at him .. and she was yelling .. whack it ... for goodness sakes whack... | |
