| | What's your take on today's music? | | I grew up in the 80's with Michael Jackson, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Prince(when he was prince), Cyndi Lauper, etc. Rap music was becoming popular. I dont like to listen to music today too much. Reason being because there's no point to it. It doesnt say anything. I love Aerosmith, Styx, Led Zepplin!. There music said something. Even when ozzy ozbourne was screaming and carrying on he was pulling you in. When I hear my daughter listening to lil wayne and the song is saying: Iknow I fu**ed up, I know I fu**ed up, my bad I fu**ed up and on and on. We get it! You fu**ed up. ANything else. You can only say BIT*H so many times before it gets old. I have no problem with swearing, saying bit*h, etc. If it makes sense and puts a point accross. Music when I was growing up was fun. No one dissed each other back and forth and made songs out of it to get back at each other. Now adays its not music its one big argument. What do you think about it? dl | |
