| | Should Red Hot Chili Peppers number 1? | | I am an avid listener to Red hot chili Peppers, I have all their CD's. I have been lucky enough to go to two of their amazing concerts. And in the time of listening to Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Robert Plant, etc... I have gotten a certain vibe when listening to RHCP. It is the same vibe I get when I hear great music. So should RHCP be up there with the greatest?When i listen to some of their songs I get a real mellow feeling; just like when i listen to Jimi hendrix, Pink floyd, Metallica, and some other great bands. Is it just me or do their words paint a vivid picture in your head about the world and its state?As I write this I am listening to Under The Bridge, to me one of their greatest out. And I too play guitar, I have a couple songs out; but where did they get these amazing rifts and these words that flow like water through a creek.I don't want to drag this out, but I can easily put Red Hot Chili Peppers up there with Clapton... can you? | |

| | John Frusciante and Anthony of Red Hot Chili Peppers | | Is just me or are these two genius?? I'll start with John. He's been in the Rolling Stone top20 since the release of Stadium Arcadium, but i think he is even better than that. He totally feels every song he plays! Maybe its because he is an ex-druggie or something, i don't know if that effects anything. Same with Anthony Kedeis (Oops can't spell), i'm not sure but i dont think he is as well recognized for i talent in writing lyrics but his lyrics if you read them properly are cool^^ I think he studied poetry in Univervisity or something a while back. Of course i like Chad and Flea as well but i really respect John and Anthony because they are awesome and have deeply helped Red Hot Chili Peppers become one of the best band ever. (Not saying chad or flea havn't they are awesome too:]) | |
