| | Best skid row albums | | what are the best skid row albums? i think only the first two are. skid row & slave to the grind. after then they went downhill as they spilt in the mid 1990s & didn't ask sebastian bach when they reformed they hired a completely new lead singer & they haven't been able to sell records since. so are the first two albums the good ones only or are there others? | |

| Skid Row first three albums | | I started listening seriously to Skid Row only in the last months... I like them a lot...they are my favourite band nowadays. Their first three album are awesome...I prefer Slave To The Grind but I like a lot Subhuman Race too, while I appreciate the first album just for the most famous songs...18 and Life and I Remember You.

| Listening to Older Music | | There was something by a local columnist in the Jackson (MI) Citizen Patriot (my local paper) about younger people listening to older music. He says that as much as he likes the music and that he thinks that people would naturally listen to the best music, that kids lose something special when they don't listen to current music, since none of their favorite artists from their younger years will be around when they get older.First, let me say that I do listen primarily to newer music. But if you look through my iPod, I do like AC/DC, Quiet Riot, Skid Row, even Edgar Winter. The columnist does have a point, since none of the above, with the exception of Winter, is around even today. But with so many people of today so focused on themselves, especially the celebrities, there's no guarantee that listening to newer music will mean having our favorite bands around later. And if you listen to anything that isn't really mainstream, you aren't going to hear that stuff on the radio in the future, either.So: Do today's kids lose something by listening to the older music rather than the bands of their own generation? | |
| | Do you miss Rock n Roll (Hard rock)? | | I so miss the days of hard rock in the late 80's-90's. I was really annoyed when grunge took over.
Hard rock is the best for partying on and having a few drinks and a sing along with friends. some of the bands I loved were Guns n roses, Skid Row, Motley Crue and Poison, Metallica. Oh they were days...it seems that no bands these days really know how to rock.
