Talk about the The Carpenters music that you love here!| What are your favorite Carpenters songs and why? | | I am a huge fan of the carpenters, particularly Karen Carpenter's voice. She is a great singer, together with her musically talented brother Richard. She may have had issues with her health, but regardless of that, I still believe that she has a very beautiful voice. My favorite songs are "Let Me Be the One", "Mr. Guder", "Yesterday Once More", "Superstar", " Close to You", "Rainy Days and Mondays", "For All We Know", "We've Only Just Begun", "Jambalaya", and "Touch Me When We're Dancing". From then on I loved Carpenters's songs . | | | men attempt to rob bank with carpenters level | | 2 men walked into a bank one wearing a red mask, one wearing a racoon skin cap with a carpenters level and demanded money, the teller refused them and they left.
No information is known about these men but they sure sounded like they thought they were gonna get money and the teller probably praying they didn't have a gun, just refused, its a good thing they walked out those things can be made out of metal and dangerous, if it was plastic less chance of getting hurt however there is no way that anyone can be sure....

| | What's Your Top Ten? | | I could start out this discussion with a simple list of my top ten, and then ask you about yours. But that would be kind of boring, would it not? Keith died in '89, when I was going through my first divorce. He essentially drank himself to death, and could I ever relate. Look he was married to a beautiful woman in Lori Morgan, and he had a successful music career. Why would this astonishingly handsome talent decide that life wasn't worth living?I'm no stranger to the rain, either. I like Keith's other songs as well. All we could feel about his life is utter and total sadness. It's necessary and absolutely mandatory that we go through this grieving process of those who needlessly and without any purpose whatsoever end it all before their time. I drink, like lots of men and women drink. I like it, but I don't like it enough to use it for something other than it was meant to be - a way to relax. Not die. Now, that is... | |
