| Who Is Playing At The Super Bowl? | | OK, forgive me, just a little play on words. Iknow the who is performing during halftime at SB XLIV. (Don't get fooled again.*groan*) My question is WHY? Don't get me wrong. I like the who. I grew up listening to them. But why would a English group want to play at an American football game, a phenomenon that generally leaves the rest of the world scratching their heads over? Oh yeah, our British compatriots are big fans of football too, but it ain't nothing like we play in the good ol' U.S. of A. (And if I'm not mistaken, isn't roger daltrey a big soccer aficionado?) I remember wondering the same thing when the Stones played the Super Bowl in 2006. I thought, "Cool, but...why would they want to?" Big bucks? Ah well... just musing. | |

| Does anytone know the story of Quadrafenia? | | Tommy was the first rock oprera and of course it was great and I bought it when it first came out. And we knew Tommy was the story of a deaf dumb and blind boy. And in fact when you get the album you learn he becomes deaf dumb and blind from witnessing the murder. Then Jesus Christ superstar came out, another rock opera. When Quadrafenia came out I thought it was just another who album like who's next. Then, some time later I was told no, Quadrafenia is another rock opera. But I have no idea what this one's about. | |

| Modern classic rock | | Is classic rock really mean that it is from back in the 60's 70's 80's or is ti actually a type of sound? I think its a type of sound. No band now has achieved this but if it was achieved would you think that it would be classified as classic rock. I think the closest band would be a band called airbourne. They sound a lot like AC/DC. | |
