This is not my idea of humility at all!Humility is honesty, its being who you are, standing tall and shouting "I AM!!!" at the top of your voice.A sister explained it like this: when she was young she fell in love with a guy but it was too late because she'd already become a nun. Well she stood out in a field and she screamed and ranted and raved at God, then she explained that this is humility, it's standing before God exactly as you are and being honest, hiding nothing.Humility is also the honesty in being able to wonder at the awesomeness of God and the universse.That's my account of humility, what's yours? |
